Our dedicated body of staff place students’ interests at the heart of everything they do ensuring that students have high aspirations and are able to reach their full potential.


Our mission is to achieve high standards and fulfil the expectations of all students of all abilities and from all backgrounds by making teaching and learning our focus. Last year Welling School was in the top 100 most improved schools in the country.We recognize that if a child is to accomplish those ambitions and improve their life chances it is essential that we work in partnership with parents and carers.

Open Surgery

Directors of Learning

Please be advised that Welling School has dedicated Directors of Learning for each Key Stage who can be contacted to discuss your child’s progress at Welling School.  For Key Stage 3 (Years 7, 8, 9), please contact Mrs Bonner (Bonnerc@welling.bexley.sch.uk); Key Stage 4 (Years 10, 11), Mrs Brady (bradyj@welling.bexley.sch.uk); Key Stage 5 (Years 12, 13), Ms Beer (beere@welling.bexley.sch.uk).

 

Mrs Khanna holds 'Open Surgery', Monday - Thursday, 0700 - 0730, for parents / carers to discuss their child's academic progress.  Please advise Reception if you wish to see Mrs Khanna to ensure she is available.  Details of your concerns should be e-mailed to her Personal Assistant, swanc@welling.bexley.sch.uk, beforehand to enable Welling School to provide the best advice.  Outside the hours of 0700-0730, if Mrs Khanna is unavailable, a senior member of staff will be booked to meet / call you.

Ranger Outpost provides a safe and effective way for users to transfer work between their home computer and the network, via the internet, 24 hours a day. It has been designed specifically for educational use and so is secure, simple to configure and easy to use.

The Ranger Outpost Client software is all you need to install and use Ranger Outpost on your home computer.
